Register for seven days of poetry prompts with poetry tips from a member of the kid lit poetry community each day. Hosted by Joyce Uglow and Cynthia Mackey. April 20-26.
Sign up will begin on April 13th. Free to all who wish to enter. All you need to do is comment with your first and last name on the April 13th post. Subscribe to Joyce’s Substack to see the daily prompts. The challenge works best if you sign up for email notifications.
Write a poem a day for seven days using prompts from our debut picture books; STUCK: The Story of the La Brea Tar Pits and IF A BUMBLEBEE LANDS ON YOUR TOE. The theme is Earth Day so write poems for the planet.
Our guests will be Susan Johnston Taylor, Natasha Zimmers, Jenny Mattern, Irene Latham, Kathy Hasley, and Sara Fajardo! They have generously donated prizes. Please support their books however you are able.
